There are various courts throughout central and south-eastern Ohio including:

• Courts of Common Pleas, which hear felony-level cases such as: Murder, Burglary, and Pandering Obscenity. 

• County Courts, which hear misdemeanor-level cases such as: Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol, Menacing, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and

• Municipal court which hears misdemeanor-level cases within the jurisdiction of a city.
